"May the odds be ever in your favor!"

In case you didn't know, a little movie called The Hunger Games came out today!  If you know anything about me, I'm sure you realize how EXCITED I am to see this movie.  Unfortunately, I have to hold out until tomorrow, so for the time being I'd like to live vicariously through you - how was it????  Don't give away any spoilers, but, did you love it?  I'm so excited for to see it that I actually re-read the book in preparation, and it was just as good as the first time!!

In other news, I received several very nice birthday wishes!  Thank you, homeroom kiddos, for the birthday song video.  It was literally one of the best presents I got!  And I got a very sweet birthday card from my fourth period students.  It was so thoughtful and I definitely didn't expect it!  It wasn't the same celebrating my birthday in Arkansas, but it was really nice to hear from all of you!

I'd love some updates about how things are going at Trickum!  I hear the book fair was this week, what did you get?  Any good books I should read?  And, the PROBE Math field trip was today, right?  How did it go?  Was the 6th grade social this week, too?  Sounds like an exciting week!  I'd love some updates about the fun stuff that is happening at TMS!

  2. I'm so excited for the hunger games!!! I'm going to see it 2 times today!!! 1 time with one friend and a parent, and a second time with the other parent and another friend. My dad finished reading the hunger games yesterday and now he sees why everyone loves it so much! He didn't like it at first because he's totally anti-violence. The math field trip was fun. It was REALLY long and tiring though. We walked around the mall for hours! Luckily we finished the packet and had some time to shop.

    *Updates in LA period 1*
We sit in rows of 3 now.
We talk most of the time then work really hard
She insistes we don;t work on our project outside of class (YES!!!)
We still have SAT words but they are way to different, we have to write the word definition a couplet about the word (?????) and write out our example sentance!!! Way to different for me.
Class will never be the same without you!!!!!!!!!!!! (Those are the major things)

  7. OMG MS MILLER DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE HUNGER GAMES!!!! I finished the third book on Christmas eve and Christmas and I would NEVER put these books down!!!! I saw the movie the day of the fieldtrip with my mom after it and it was AMAZING!!!! best movie and books ever!!!! 2nd period is a whole lot crazier!! Josh and Christian and devin have been TOTALLY out of control and driving ms Moore nuts!!! They won't b quiet and just are their weird selves ALL THE TIME!!! The social was very fun too:) but trivium is not the same without my favorite teacher and filling up your purple water bottle every morning:(
